Hello and welcome to my blog! So I thought I would give blogging a go. Only problem is, I’m not sure whether I’ll have much to say. So watch this space! But first, a bit about me. I’m a twenty-something librarian (well, library assistant at the moment) from Glasgow. I qualified as a librarian three years ago but finding a professional post is proving to be somewhat difficult. Having said that, I am happy with my job – some scope for initiative and nice co-workers. Not quite sure what my dream job would be, not even sure if I have a dream job. Possibly as an international jet-setting librarian.

I’ve lived in Glasgow all my life. I’ve never really had any desire to move. I probably would if I had to but I’m not really sure that I would want to. I think it’s a great city and it is my home. I’m not quite newly married as my husband and I have been married for almost a year and a half now, although we’ve been together for nearly six years. In case anyone is wondering, the title of this blog has a little to do with his nickname for me (but that is another story!). Anyway, I’m just messing about with the format and look of the blog so it could change a lot in the next few months.
